By placing a reservation through online booking or paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the rules on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"basic\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Basic House Rules<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Occupancy &amp; rates<\/strong><br>All cabin rates are based on double occupancy. Additional overnight guests are charged <strong>$50.00 per person, per night<\/strong>.<br>Children under 12 stay free (proof of age may be required at check-in).<br>Only registered guests may stay overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-smoking \/ vaping<\/strong><br>Nimpo Lake Resort is a <strong>NON-SMOKING \/ NON-VAPING facility<\/strong>.<br>Smoking or vaping is permitted <strong>outdoors only<\/strong>, in designated areas.<br>A cleaning or remediation fee may be charged for any indoor smoking or vaping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Self check-in &amp; check-out<\/strong><br>Self check-in and check-out instructions are sent by email prior to arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Check-in:<\/strong> 3:00 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check-out:<\/strong> 10:00 AM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Late check-out may be available when operations permit and is charged at <strong>$20 per hour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum stay<\/strong><br>A <strong>two-night minimum stay<\/strong> applies.<br>Weekly and monthly rates may be available by request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Boats &amp; watercraft<\/strong><br>We do <strong>not<\/strong> rent motorboats.<br>Registered guests may use canoes and kayaks near shore at no charge.<br>Life jackets are mandatory. We do not charge for minor accidents such as broken glass or normal wear and tear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guests agree to pay for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Non-consumable items missing from the unit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Significant damage, excessive mess, or misuse beyond normal wear<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The resort reserves sole discretion over repair methods and costs.<br>Charges may be applied to the credit card on file after departure for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Property damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excessive cleaning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removal of strong odours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning of dishes or cookware left unwashed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking outside designated areas may result in grounds-repair charges.<br>Damage to boats or motors caused by navigating too close to rocks may also be charged.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"fees\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Fees<\/summary>\n<p>Guests agree that violations of resort rules or damages as described above may result in charges of <strong>up to $2,000.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"watercraft\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Securing Your Watercraft<\/summary>\n<p>Guests are solely responsible for properly securing any personal watercraft.<br>The resort is not liable for damage caused by high winds, rough water, inclement weather, or other acts of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dock is <strong>not designed for jet skis<\/strong>.<br>Any damage involving jet skis remains the sole responsibility of the guest.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"water-safety\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Water Safety<\/summary>\n<p>There is <strong>no lifeguard on duty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nimpo Lake is deep, and conditions can change quickly. Guests must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check weather conditions before launching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paddle into the wind first when using non-motorized craft<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return immediately if winds increase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All water activities are undertaken at your own risk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents and guardians must supervise children at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approved personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resort staff do not supervise waterfront activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"pets\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Pet Policy<\/summary>\n<p>We are a pet-friendly resort with limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A maximum of <strong>two (2) pets<\/strong> is permitted per cabin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service animals are always welcome at no charge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pets must not be aggressive; the resort reserves the right to deny entry or require removal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pit bulls or pit bull\u2013mixed breeds are not permitted<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pets must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be kept off furniture and beds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Never be left unattended in cabins unless crated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any damage caused by pets will be charged to the credit card on file within 48 hours of check-out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pet fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$30 <strong>per pet per stay<\/strong> (maximum two pets per cabin).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Small caged pets (e.g., fish, hamsters, rabbits) are not subject to pet fees.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details id=\"weather\" class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Weather Policy<\/summary>\n<p>If roads remain open, Nimpo Lake Resort is considered open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If <strong>Highway 20 or Highway 1<\/strong> is officially closed by BC Transportation for more than four (4) hours before or after scheduled check-in, and you choose not to travel, a future credit equal to the deposit amount (normally 50%) will be issued.
